What is the Academy?

The Academy is the highest level of play in our club system

  • Development Academy 8-10 years old
  • Academy 11-14 years old
  • Elite Academy 15-19 year olds

The aim of the Academy is to create the optimal learning and training environment for player development, through quality coaching; incorporating top notch instruction from USSF and NSCAA Nationally Licensed Coaches combined with a high level of soccer knowledge and experience

The Academy program will raise the standards and assure that the pathway for the most talented and dedicated players exists; through this process we will be able to continue to compete with the elite players and teams in Alaska, in the west region and in nationally ranked tournaments.

How often do Academy teams train?

During the season, the Academy teams will train two to three times per week with games on Saturday and/or Sunday; tournament play is usually Friday through Sunday.

How do teams train?

Teams will work within their own age group at each training session and on occasion will train one night per week in a Functional (by position/unit) Training setting.

Where can the Academy take me?

By being a part of the Cook Inlet Soccer Club Academy programs, your son or daughter will be exposed to elite level tournaments and camps, which can provide a vehicle to the Collegiate, Professional and National Team Programs.
