2019 Skills Camp

The 2019 Skills Camp, presented by Cook Inlet Soccer Club, is an opportunity for players to work on their individual development and creativity.  CISC Executive Director, Brad Horton, will be the lead coach of the camp along side Director of Coaches, Tim Valesko.  The camp is geared towards players ages 7 to 14 years of age.

What will we work on?

Skill Moves, Passing, Recieving, Shooting and Dribbling. 

What are the camp dates?

We will be offering two week-long camps in July.  July 8-11 and July 22-25. 

What are the times of the camp?

The Skills Camp will run 9AM to 12PM Monday through Thursday.  Drop off starts at 8:45AM and all players should be picked up no later than 12:05PM.  

What is the cost of the camp?

$150 per week per player.  This includes a camp t-shirt. 

What should my player bring to the camp?

All players should bring a ball (a ball can be provided if needed), shinguards, water, a snack, and multi-weather gear in case of rain.

Lead Coaches

CISC Executive Director, Brad Horton, will lead the camp both weeks.  Brad is a former US Youth National Team Player at the U14 to U17 ages and also played for the Chicago Fire in the United Soccer Lagues PDL.  A Former NCAA D1 player at the Northern Illinois University, Brad has a knack for teaching skills and keeping sessions lively and upbeat.  Brad holds a USSF 'C' License, as well as a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma and Director of Coaches Diploma.

CISC Director of Coaches, Tim Valesko, is one of the most recognizable faces of soccer in the state of Alaska.  Tim has been coaching in Alaska for over 20 years at a high level and has sent over 100 players to the collegiate level on scholarships.  Tim is a USSF 'C' License Coach and has his United Soccer Coaches National Diploma and Director of Coaches Diploma.
