  • Mackenzie German Staff Coach

    Is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where she played youth and women’s Major League Soccer, winning 3 National championships with her Women’s team Victoria Soccer Club. 

    Mackenzie played NCAA Division 1 soccer for four years at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) where she was on the Conference USA Academic Honor roll for four years, as well as named team captain her senior year. Mackenzie graduated with honors - Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. 

    She played three years in the WPSL Semi Professional League for FC Tucson, her last two years she was captain of the FC Tucson squad.

    Coaching Achievements:

    Mackenzie is a Staff Coach with Cook Inlet Soccer Club, working in the Girls Elite Academy program, Academy Program, our Development Academy and Grassroots Programs respectively.

    She was a Staff coach for the FC Tucson Soccer Academy from 2014-2016. 


    Mackenzie is well versed in the Cook Inlet Soccer Club Developmental Philosophy and its processes; working primarily with our Girls Programs, the wealth of experience she brings to the pitch, in technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects will enhance the players he works with in their ability to train and learn at the highest levels.

  • Blue Charoensook Coach

    Anthony, known by most as ‘Blue’, grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.  He played in a number of competitive sports growing up; ranging from swimming, track and field, football, and off road biking.  He picked up the love for soccer through his two children. 

    Coaching Licenses:

    USSF D License; USSF E License; USSF F License

    Coaching Achievements:

    Blue is the Director of the U10 Boys Academy and currently assistant coach on the 06 Boys.

    He has also served as assistant coach for the 97 Girls and the 00 Girls

    Blue originally signed up to be a volunteer head coach for the Cook Inlet Recreational leagues.  He coached the U12, U15 and U19, boys and girls for 5 years. 

    He worked closely and was mentored by Coach Turner, improving not only his skills of coaching, but on how to successfully build teams from the ground up.  

    Since 2014, he moved back over to the competitive side, and worked alongside Cook Inlets high-level coaches as part of his continued mentorship.  

    Blue is well versed in the Cook Inlet Soccer Club Developmental Philosophy and its processes; he is passionate in helping players find the courage during their development, to try new things that will further enhance their love for the game.  To this end, it enables the players to find the confidence to trust themselves to perform at their best. 

    He is married to Annabel and has two girls who have gone through or are currently playing soccer with Cook Inlet Soccer Club.

  • Ken Applegate Coach

    Ken is a Pennsylvania native where he graduated from Garden Spot High School in (97’).  Ken is a two-time EYSA / ODP second team selection in 1996 and 1997.  He played collegiately at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia (00’-03’). 


    Ken traveled abroad to England and Scotland during the summer of ’94 for a short stint with an English academy program, playing in Edinburgh, Grangemouth, Southport and London.  


    Ken is the fortunate husband of wife Korynn and proud father of his five wonderful children, Keegynn, Kaleb, Kendall, Kooper and Kenzington.

    Ken has gained his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National E and D License, and his NSCAA National Diploma.


    Coaching Achievements: 


    Ken has been Coaching for 6 years.  He has concentrated on the development of pre-competitive and first year competitive teams, focusing on the technical and tactical fundamentals of the game; building and preparing young athletes for the ensuing commitment to the sport of soccer.


    Ken was awarded the Girls Competitive Coach of the Year in 2016 by Alaska Youth Soccer.


    Ken has had the privilege to coach alongside several established coaches in the state, including work with CISC’s Elite Academy Program.

    Ken is well versed in the Cook Inlet Soccer Club Developmental Philosophy and its processes. The wealth of experience he brings to the pitch, in technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects will enhance the players he works with in their ability to train and learn at the highest levels.

  • Meritone Sadiku Coach

    Tony has been coaching with Cook Inlet Soccer Club for one year. He is originally from Kichevo, Macedonia where he played professionally at FC Nadpredok - 1st Division and FC Vllazrimi - 2nd Division

    He brings a wealth of experience of over 25+ years in the game and enjoys sharing his playing experiences with the players he coaches and in the coaching sessions he is involved with.

  • Rich Bailey Coach

    Rich is born and raised in Alaska, and is a USSF National E-licensed coach; he played competitive soccer for Cook Inlet SC, Northern Lights Soccer Club, and AK United FC as well as participating in Alaska’s ODP program. 

    Rich was a starter for Bartlett High School’s varsity soccer team. After graduation, Rich joined and served six decorated years in the United States Coast Guard before finishing his Engineering Degree at UAA. 


    Since the Fall of 2016, Rich has been a full time coach for Cook Inlet teams in our Developmental Academy.

  • Dylan Faber Goalkeeper Coach

    Dylan was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska and has more than 13 years of goalkeeping experience. He began his playing career at Cook Inlet Soccer Club and continued playing for local clubs up until high school. Dylan played a year of varsity soccer for West Anchorage High School, where he led the school to a Cook Inlet Conference League Championship, a Regional Final and the State Final. During that season, Dylan was named to the First Team All-Conference. 

    Following a year at West Anchorage High School, Dylan attended an international residential soccer academy at Darlington School in Rome, Georgia. While there, Dylan traveled throughout the states to many of the country’s elite tournaments, played in multiple tournaments overseas, visited over 40 college campuses, and guest played for Atlanta Fire’s Developmental Academy team. 

    Upon graduating high school, Dylan played NCAA Div. I Soccer for Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While there, Dylan helped the team to a conference championship and reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Dylan was also named Northeastern University’s Student Athlete of the Year for 2015. During the summers, Dylan played semi-professionally in the PDL/USL league for the North Sound Sea Wolves based out of Edmonds, Washington and in the NPSL league for Georgia Revolution F.C.  

    In addition to over 13 years of goal keeping experience, Dylan has been coaching goal keepers for more than 5 years and was the Goalkeeping Camp Director for No. 1 Soccer Camp’s Georgia location. In addition to coaching at camps, Dylan has also coached goalkeeping for F.C. Bolts, the largest club in New England, and has coached private sessions for young goal keepers in the past. 


    Dylan began coaching goal keepers for Cook Inlet Soccer Club in 2015.
